The Facsimile Data Analyzer system, FDA-96, is a complete
system for monitoring telefax, data and
voice communication. The phone line communication is recorded
on a DAT-recorder or Hard-Disc for
permanent storage. The telefax messages can be transferred
to a personal computer (PC with MSDOS
version 3.3 or higher) for analyze.
The standard model contains a built-in DAT-recorder
for storing phone line communication. After
being activated by an automatic start function the
system automatically will monitor the line activities
and mainly telefax communication but also data and
voice communication.
The system
is delivered as a stand alone model, but can easily
be mounted into a rack system to save space and serve
as a multi channel system. The systems
can be built as one, three and ten channel systems
with communication via LAN (local area network) or
WAN (wide area network) and also via Ethernet communication
from remote monitor stations to master stations.
The FDA-96 system can be connected direct to the telephone
line with high impedance connection,
via a special protocol converter called Fax-Filter,
(se Fax-Filter users manual) or via a special interface
with different receivers for fax, data or voice communication.
The recorded
fax-data, as well as traffic information
and handshake reports will be stored on
the PC
computers Hard Disc or at the built-in DAT Recorder
and can later be sent via a serial port
to a central computer for analyze and print out.
