Fax
guard-2000 is a system that can
be installed at any facsimile machines on
the market with
group 3 communication. The system guards that
all in and out going information follows
the standard
protocol for fax communication. If any other
unknown protocol or information transmits over
the line to
the facsimile machine the system break the line
to the fax and gives an alarm to the user and
lights up
the ALARM diode.
When this alarm occurs the system will keep
the line open until the operator resets
the system
with
the physical key on the front of the system.
The system erase automatically all customer
specified
codes in the NSF block in the hand shake protocol.
If special codes need to be transmitted in
the NSF block these can be installed in the
system
and then
it only will approve this specific NSF codes.
The system is installed between the line
and the fax machine. The LINE input shall
be connected
to
the line and the FAX input shall be installed
to the fax machine.
To start the guard function turn the physical
key so the POWER light diode is light
up and the system
is ready to guard the fax communication.
